About Sydney
Sydney Lanier is an autism advocate, speaker, and artist from Avon Park, Florida. Diagnosed with autism at age four, she describes the way she experiences the world as a strength—one that helps her think visually, remember through images, and notice details others may miss.
Her creative path has included studies in art and design through Beacon College, South Florida State College, and Full Sail University. Her work often reflects empathy, imagination, and a deep concern for people who have ever felt different, unseen, or left out.
Sydney also serves others through advocacy and community involvement. She has volunteered with Meals on Wheels, participated and medaled in Special Olympics Equestrian events, and served on the Florida Youth Council to encourage inclusion, awareness, and understanding for people with disabilities.
